Avoid The Biggest Psychic Development Mistake People Make When Trying To Use Psychic Perception
The biggest mistake is simple – people put their attention in the wrong place when trying to use psychic perception. In order to be able to use psychic perception, you have to be deliberate about where you are putting your attention.
For example, if you are like must people, when you focus on someone, you see that person at a distance and go through a series of thoughts in your mind. You use your intellectual tools to make assessments and decisions about that person.
Psychic perception is different though. Instead of thinking about someone, you have to put your attention where the person is. If you are in Texas and they are in New York, you have to imagine being right next to them in New York.
You can't be in Texas just thinking about them. Then as you do this, as you are imagining being where they are, you observe how you feel – any changes, sensations, motivations, intentions, etc.
"The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it intuition or what you will, and the solution comes to you, and you don't know how or why."
Albert Einstein
After some practice, your imagination will turn into true psychic perception - you will actually get to the point to where a part of you is actually where they are. This is what Princeton University and other credible sources refer to as remote perception.
See this fascinating video from scientist Russell Targ. After receiving his physics degree from Columbia University and serving as a project manager at Lockheed Martin, he worked developed de-classified CIA Stargate project. Stargate was a joint military intelligence project focused on developing and implementing psychic development. You can see some of the examples of Targ's remote viewing results and get an idea of what can be achieved when you learn to focus you attention at distant location:
Simply Put - By putting your attention where the target is, your psychic accuracy increases. But most people don't do this. When you ask them to psychically focus on someone or something, they just start thinking about the target. They combine their intellectual bank of information with the observations they've made about target (thing or person).
Just using your intellect is like using a computer that isn't plugged into the internet. It has some capability, but it's much more limited than a computer that is plugged into then internet. This is true especially when it comes down to getting new information about anything.
Taking control of where you put your attention is a simple concept, but one that is most commonly overlooked. It is also a radical concept to most people – that a part of you (your soul, attention, personality, etc) can be at a distant location a thousand miles from where your psychical body is sitting.
I don't even expect you to believe me that this is true. I just ask that you consider it and play around with it. Set yourself up as the researcher and use your life as a laboratory. Do the scientific exploration yourself and come up with your own truths. Have fun with it.
