Hi thanks for your reply. I am able to apply for residency now (I’m in Canada) but can’t at the moment due to the work permit problem. I need the new work permit so that I can stay here and keep working while I’ll apply for residency. Otherwise I would have to leave and apply from out of the country and try and live in another country while I wait, not a good option! I’m thinking positively, and that it will work out…

As for the man, he does have other committments that he isn’t likely to budge on at the moment. We were a little more than friends at a point about 2 years ago now, but have gone back and forthe a lot in the past two years (arguing a bit about his situation and us) and now we’ve decided on friends. I gave him the option of me just walking away if that makes his life easier, he said he wants to be friends. I just hope isn’t just saying that so that he doesn’t hurt my feelings…do you see us seeing each other more often? (as friends)

Thank you for your reply. What you say about his shallow state makes a lot of sense. Can you tell me at all how he truely feels about me? We have spoken a little since my post, but we’re still not in a good place. kinda back to square one again! Do you know if I will see him soon? it would probably help things a lot!
