Credits: -16.00Hi,
Up until a few months ago I was seeing a guy. We were unofficially together for about a year. Through this time he has developed into my best friend and I have fallen for him. I know that I had become close to him as well as he opened up to me about a lot of his life, some of which he never had shared with anyone else before.
I was moving house and now live about an hour away. When I left, I left him a letter telling him how I feel. We spoke about it after and he told me he didn’t want a relationship, but he doesn’t want to lose me and wants us to be friends. He was very adamant that he didn’t want us to part ways completely. After the normal crazy girl begging etc, and then after we hooked up a few times after that, I told him that I felt like he didn’t really know what he wanted and told him he needed space to work out what he wanted. And he completely agreed.
Giving him that space was the hardest, most painful thing I’ve ever done and I stuffed up a few times and messaged him and even a couple of times we were in the same event and went home together.
Now it’s been about a month and we have just semi made contact again in the last few days. He is currently away in a different state but will be home next week I think. I’m so scared that he is going to come home and just carry on with life without me. I’m not going to contact him again, I want to wait until if and when he contacts me. My question is, will he reach out when he gets home, and will we reconcile? I am hoping that he has missed me in this time apart, but being a busy time of year I don’t know if he has had time to think about it.
Will we get a happy start over? And will he realise he wants me in his life in more of a way than just a mate? - AuthorPosts
