I’m with this guy, I got into a bit of trouble with him and certain decisions I’ve made in the relationship caused me to lie to my family and tear it apart as they do not want me with him. Will my life get any better? Will things fall into place?

As of now, no i don’t get a psychic sense your future will be better. But that’s because you aren’t really doing anything to make it better.
