        Profile Photo

It’s nice to have a picture next to all of your community posts and other places in the LifeLeap Community. This lets others get to place a face with your name and your discussions. It keeps us all from being such strangers. Uploading your own personal profile picture is easy, whether you are on a computer or a smart phone:

To upload your own digital picture:

        1. In the “Community Links” menu, which is found on every page, click “Change Your Profile Picture”

        2. Click the “Choose File” button and when box opens, navigate to picture on your computer/phone and click it to select it

        3. If you are on a Smart Phone, you can probably choose camera, take a selfie, and your picture will be selected

        4. Now, click the upload image button

        5. Drag the crop box to select how you want your picture to display and click the crop button

        6. You picture will be automatically uploaded and placed on your profile

Alternative Method to upload your own digital picture:

        1. Decide what digital picture of yourself that you want to use

        2. Go to your “Personal Profile”

        3. Hover over your current profile photo and click the little blue cloud icon which appears

        4. When the box opens, navigate to picture on your computer/phone and click it to select it

        5. You picture will be automatically uploaded and placed on your profile

        Of course, you may…

        • Have problems uploading your picture for some reason (you may get strange error messages)

        • Have a picture that has other people on it

        • Not know how to crop your picture to make it smaller and square

        • Be too slow at any of the above

If this is the case, send us your picture and we will clean it up and upload it into your account. We would be happy to do this for you. You can always delete the picture later if you don’t like it.

Just send it to support ticket along with a note as to what it’s for. Send the graphic file as an attachment in your ticket (if you don’t know how to do this, let me know and we will walk you though the process).

        * Please only put a headshot picture of yourself in your profile (this is all we can allow) – no scenes, cartoon characters, etc. This is a community – We want to see you, not more clipart

        Cover Photo

You Cover Photo is the big picture at the top of your profile page. We encourage you change this picture – put a nice scene, put a picture of yourself on vacation, whatever you like.

        To change your cover photo:

        1. Decide what digital picture of yourself that you want to use (you can even type “free cover photo” in Google to find free pictures)

        2. Go to your “Personal Profile”

        3. Hover over your current cover photo and click the little blue cloud icon which appears

        4. When the box opens, navigate to picture on your computer/phone and click it to select it

        5. You cover photo will be automatically uploaded and placed on your profile

        6. You can reposition your cover photo any time by hovering over it and clicking the edit button

        7. If you have issues, send us your picture in a support ticket and we will be glad to upload it for you.

OK, I guess I should have read this before my prior question. Please disregard. Thank you.
