I recently reconnected with a former love who’s adopted 3 children. Although we’ve been apart for many years and on different coasts, we’ve both been looking for each other. I feel that he loves me, but if he’s not gay; will he ask me to marry?
You really need to take the time to find out what has been happening with him during the time which you had no contact. Adopting 3 children is a huge responsibility. Things will be very different. The children are now the main focus in his life.
You need to take this very slowly. Take the time to reconnect and then ask yourself if this is really what you want. Have some of your ideas changed since you have been apart from him? Things may very well work out, but you might have to make some major adjustments in your life.
