I have a friend that I feel very close to even though throughout the 20 years that we have known each other, we have not been able to spend much time together. For the last several years, though, we had maintained a fairly strong texting and email relationship, though we were unable to visit; however, due to various reasons, that ended abruptly 10 months ago. For some of those same reasons, I am unable to contact him; however, he knows how to contact me. I miss him dearly, so my question is will I see him or hear from him anytime in the near future and will he contact me or will I have to find a way to contact him?
You might want to find a way to contact him. It is much easier these days with various different internet search engines. If you were on good terms the last time you were in contact, the chances are that he would be glad to hear from you.
