So there’s a guy in my club and organization at my school and he needed a place to stay so i’m willing to help him out. He’s willing to help pay the rent but i’m still unsure about it. I talk to him a couple of times and he’s a chill, easygoing guy but i’m not close to him or anything. Can you give me information about how this situation will turn out?

Because you are having doubts about this arrangement — let this be a “red flag”. As you said you don’t know this guy very well. The school should have resources or connections to assist him.

But since my roommate move out do you sense someone else coming in and taking her spot?

This is a situation that you should have total control over. If you feel that you need to have a roommate you should be very selective in who you choose.

Be very careful who you choose these days instead of making a hasty choice be friends with that person first to get a feel for them
